L’ADRIA Sun fluid SPF 50+ in its texture of a light orange fluid preserves the secret life of the Adriatic plants and marine organisms, which through exceptional mechanisms combat harmful UV radiation.

The secrets of the action are revealed by a group of natural molecules called carotenoids. They are widespread in the living world, in plants, animals, rhumbs and red algae, including in our skin, providing valuable protection against UV radiation, neutralizing free radicals.
Carotenoids are provitamin A, the good sisters of retinol, but whereas retinol is like a big brother that burns and burns and makes the skin sensitive to the sun, carotenoids will do the opposite: soothe and prevent sun damage to the skin, reducing the harmful effect of UV radiation without having the effect of a UV filter. As lipophilic antioxidants, they have the added benefit of anti-comedogenic activity, as their antioxidant activity protects sebum from oxidation, a known cause of mites, which is often aggravated in summer by exposure to the sun.

Carotenoids from red and pink algae, the most famous of which is astaxanthin, we combined with OPC from coastal pine, a very powerful hydrophilic antioxidant that also significantly reduces UV-induced stress on the skin.

To protect the skin from the drying effects of the sun, we use moisturizers based on extremophile organisms - ectoine and sea lavender, and two types of hyaluronic acid – for deep hydration and hydration of the superficial layers of skin.

To achieve a very high level of protection against the broad spectrum of UVA and UVB radiation, we have used modern, elegant UV filters of the latest generation, which are characterized by excellent photostability, reliability of protection and the absence of white and greasy traces during application, which allows a superior skin sensation without weight and wrinkling of the skin even at high SPF levels.

Also, compared to the UV filters of the old generation, the new filters are less prone to harmful effects on the marine environment. Its lightweight, non-greasy and unobtrusive texture, L'ADRIA Sun fluid SPF 50+ is suitable for all skin types and is also an excellent base for make-up. If used with makeup, the order of application is always SPF first, then makeup.

How can you combine Sun fluid SPF 50+ with other LADRIA products?

With summer morning facials, less is more. Since the Sun fluid SPF 50+ gives a mat velvet blur finish on the skin, which reduces the visibility of the pore and controls the sebum without further drying out, it will ideally fit as a standalone care and protection product for fat to a mixed skin in the summer period.

For dry or dehydrated skin where a matte finish is not ideal and needs an extra dose of moisture, we recommend that this product be combined with L’ADRIA Restorative mist. Restorative mist provides an extra dose of refreshing hydration and glow, yet it's airy and light and easily dosed throughout the day as needed, whenever skin tightness is felt. Restorative mist can be applied before and after the sunscreen, will not affect the sunscreen protection level, will not it cause flaking on application, which is a common occurrence when sunscreen products are combined with other products in the routine with which they may not be compatible.

Application: Before exposure to the sun, generously (two finger lengths) evenly apply the product to the face. Repeat the application at regular intervals, especially after bathing or wiping with a towel. Don't spend too long in the sun, even if you use a sunscreen. Keep newborns and small children out of direct sunlight. Excessive sun exposure is a serious health risk.
