The legend of the Adriatic Sea is one of them — a story of Bura and Jugo, of Adria and Velebit, of love, loss, and transformation that shaped the landscape we know today. They say Adria became the Adriatic Sea, and Velebit the stone that watches over it. The winds remained as reminders of everything that once happened, yet never truly disappeared.

Even today, the Adriatic lives through its winds and moods — sometimes gentle and radiant, sometimes strong, wild, or quiet and contemplative. In these shifts, every woman finds a part of herself.

Inspired by this legend, L’ADRIA Shower Gels and Body Polish scrubs were created — a skincare ritual celebrating transformation, sensuality, and Mediterranean luxury. Upon contact with water, the Shower Gels transform into a rich, delicate foam that cleanses and softens the skin, while the Body Polish scrubs transform from a creamy, granulated balm into a rich milk that perfumes and deeply nourishes the skin.

SLS/SLES-free formulas, enriched with NMF, PHA acids, olive squalane, and Adriatic sea salt, provide a sense of softness, hydration, and care. The Body Polish scrubs contain a minimum of 92% ingredients of natural origin* and combine sugar and Adriatic sea salt for gentle yet effective exfoliation, while olive squalane nourishes and restores the skin. The level of exfoliation can be easily adjusted — for a more intensive effect, apply to dry skin; for a gentler one, apply to damp skin.

Body Polish is used after shower gel, as the final step of the skincare ritual, to leave a nourishing fragrant layer on the skin. After massage and the addition of water, it transforms into a milk that can be rinsed off to the desired extent, depending on the level of care you wish to achieve. For a more intensive nourished feeling, gently pat the skin dry after showering. The skin is left silky-soft, cared for, and long-lastingly perfumed — like after applying a body lotion.

Jugo is a southern Adriatic wind that brings the scent of sea, salt, and rain to the coast. It is not a joyful wind, but neither is it gloomy, for after rain comes sunshine. It is life-giving moisture for thirsty Mediterranean plants, grown from sparse soil and dry stone. A wind saturated with the sea itself — its distillation and essence, full of humidity and salty air.

JUGO SEAFOAM is an aquatic fragrance reminiscent of foamy waves and scattered droplets. At its heart, subtle warmth and gentle sweetness come from green citrus and fruit, freshly washed by the rain carried by Jugo.

For a complete care ritual, first apply the Shower Gel to damp skin and rinse, then massage the Body Polish scrub in circular motions and, with the addition of water, transform it into a nourishing milk. Rinse according to your desired level of care, and gently pat the skin dry with a towel to allow the nourishing scented layer to remain on the skin.
